Design fee + product price
Custom orders include a one-time design fee of $25 per unique design, or $35 for challenge coins, plus the price of the products you order.
The design fee is waived at 25 or more pieces of the same design. Challenge coin design fees are never waived.

A flexible, hook-and-loop friendly replica of your badge — the same material and finish as our Flexible Patches, cut to your badge shape. Where a Flexible Patch is built from an embroidered patch, logo or artwork, a Flexible Badge is built from your actual badge. Choose a scaled Small or Medium, or a Replica: a 1:1 recreation at your badge's own dimensions.
What we need to recreate your badge
- A clear photo of the badgeLay it flat, shoot straight down from directly overhead, even light, no glare on the metal.
- Your badge numberType it exactly as it appears, including leading zeros. We set the number from your text, not the photo, so it is always sharp.
- The badge dimensionsHeight and width at the widest points. Required for every Replica, which is built 1:1 from your measurements. Small and Medium are scaled to a set size, so dimensions are helpful but not required.

Small and Medium are scaled by the badge's longest side, so finished width and height vary with your badge's shape. Replica has no standard size — it is built from the dimensions you send, which the quote form collects (height and width at the widest points).

Badge replicas are made for the badge holder. By ordering you confirm the badge is your own, or that you are authorized by the issuing agency to have it reproduced. A Flexible Badge is a decorative replica and not an official credential, and MicroPatches does not verify employment, appointment, or sworn status. It may not be worn, displayed, or used to represent yourself as a law enforcement officer or any other public official. Impersonating a peace officer and the unauthorized manufacture or use of official insignia are crimes under federal and state law. All Challenge Coins are cast in cupronickel. If you need a different metal, contact us, we can special order it for you.
Our Challenge Coins use real metal blanks with a UV cured ink process for the design, rather than traditional enamel fill. This lets us add distinct textures and fine detail that traditional methods can't achieve.
The advantage: no mold or die fees, ever. Challenge Coins have their own $35 design fee, covering both the front and back of the coin. Rather than charging double our $25 fee, we reduced it to $35 to keep it affordable for everyone. There is no minimum order, order just one coin, or 100+.

What do you need to recreate my badge?
Three things: a clear photo of the badge shot straight down with no glare, your badge number typed out exactly as it appears, and the badge dimensions. We set the number from your typed text rather than the photo so it always comes out sharp. Every Flexible Badge is made true to size, so the dimensions are required for every order — there is no standard size to fall back on.
Whose badge will you recreate?
Yours, or one you are authorized to have reproduced. We make badge replicas for the badge holder, or for an authorized representative of the issuing agency. Can I get my badge on something other than a Flexible Badge?
Yes. The same badge artwork can go on a MicroKeychain, MicroMagnet, MicroPin, MicroCharm, or Challenge Coin, priced the same as that product's standard pricing. It counts as one design, so the design fee is still charged only once.
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can request one custom piece, a department run, or a larger mixed-product order.
What artwork should I upload?
A clean vector or high-resolution graphic is ideal. A clear, straight-on photo of the actual patch or badge also works and helps us match its real appearance.
How long will my custom order take?
Turnaround depends on the order size, product mix, and artwork complexity. Your expected production timeline will be confirmed with your quote.
Can I request several products in one order?
Yes. Select every product you want in the quote form and list the quantity needed for each one.
